Procrastination at its best.
My first foray into painting patterns onto my nails,
I think it was a success.
What wasn't a success was how little uni work I achieved today.

Puuuuudding!
All I have been able to think about for the last 24 hours has been pudding.
Not uni, or exams or trying to get a 'real' job but pudding!
This is serious.

Actually frozen!
So it's about zero minus one billion degrees here in Brisbane (maybe not exactly but it's pretty darn cold for those of us used to the balmy sunshine and being able to FEEL our fingers when typing on the keyboard!).
But I'm procrastinating so will brave the icy winds to show you some pretty pretty pictures!
Firstly, you must know that shoes are my one true love. forever and always.
Let us begin.

Inspiration for new artworks
Is it possible to be both?
I think I'm a healthy mix of both sides of my brain, there is a time and a place to use either side seperatley, or together.
What are your thoughts?
Do you think you're more one than the other? How do other people percieve you?
Basically I love this image and wanted a reason to share it.
enjoy x

Time to Stumble
So I just added the Stumbleupon toolbar to my browser.
This could potentially be a terrible thing.
It was my end of uni holidays treat to myself though and I did have it on my laptop and managed to still get work done..
Regardless, I love finding crazy new things and have decided that the cooler ones you will benefit from because I'm just that kind of girl.
Check this out!
Guy Laramee is this amazing artist who carves and creates entire scenes out of books, in three dimensions.
His work is nothing short of amazing and you should definitely take a few minutes and check out his web page or at least this write up about him on thisiscolossal .

Soggy Saturday
I know this was a couple of days ago now but I have only just got organised enough to get these happy snaps off my phone and onto my computer.
This is just a quick message to all, if it looks like rain and you're heading to the markets you MUST take an umbrella and you MUSTN'T wear shoes! (as modelled soggily here by my mate, mid vegie shop)

and this here is just a super cute cover from some sheet music I was shuffling through, not because I can play any musical instrument overly well but more because I was trying to stay relatively dry and this stall, being for books and such, had the least amount of holes in the tarp roof!

Photo project
This week has been holiday week for moi, well a holiday of sorts. No uni but more work, and no actual leaving town so I had to make the most of what I had.
Vacation care pizza making, market visiting, flower buying, teaching art, making art, gardening with kittens and generally enjoying the sunshine.
That was until yesterday when it started to drizzle, the weather is gross and soggy but very conducive to studying and finishing assignments/ watching trashy tv in bed in my trackies!
So here I am, back in bed enjoying post family dinner full belly satisfaction and some gloriously bad navy cop TV, good night!

Photo project
I love my new candle from Lucent Handmade Products!
The ladies at Lucent only use soy wax and natural essences to scent their candles. All the flavours are amazing but my 100% number 1 choice is cinnamon, orange and nutmeg, it smells like christmas!
I tried a different one this time though and it is just as lovely! Rosemary and lemon myrtle, so fresh and delicious.
Check them out on facebook!
Photo project easter style!
My long weekend thus far, in photo form of course.
First some gardening, planting peppermint, cherry tomatos, lettuce, rocket, thyme, parsley, basil and jalapeno from seedlings purchased from the farmers markets.
I followed by my first ever throwdown with crab eating. I've never cracked crab claws until today, it was pretty delicious but the second I put my finger in crab guts the friendship was over, well and truly over.
Finally thankyou easter bilby for delivering some delicious chocolate!!
Merry Easter Bunny day! xx
