Actually frozen!

So it's about zero minus one billion degrees here in Brisbane (maybe not exactly but it's pretty darn cold for those of us used to the balmy sunshine and being able to FEEL our fingers when typing on the keyboard!).

But I'm procrastinating so will brave the icy winds to show you some pretty pretty pictures!

Firstly, you must know that shoes are my one true love. forever and always.

Anyway, this was a Christmas present to myself that I have wanted for AGES and AGES but never got around to purchasing, until it went on sale! {thanks Bespoke letterpress!}.

And until I can find a suitable cute vintage-y frame to put it in it will stay in its protective plastic wrapping and blue tacked to my wall...'the' wall.

I love dinosaurs.

Actually love them. Jurassic park and the land before time, both on my top ten movie list.

Even though this isn't real it did give me a good 12 hours of joy and dinosaur awesomeness.

Birthday treats!

So generally Brisbane isn't the coldest place to live ever but I promise you, this morning is double freezing with a side of frostbite!

{perhaps I don't deal with the cold very well and may be exagerrating a teeny tiny little bit but even so, it is unusually cool for the back end of winter!}

But last night I recieved a super belated birthday treat in the mail all the way from Norway, which I was super looking forward to because I love reading her letters, the phone just doesn't cut it these days and hand written letters is where it's at.

Here are some quick snaps of the birthday treats I recieved, all handmade and extra lovely because of it!

Although the feather necklace will have to wait for a special occasion, the friendship bracelet was put on immediatley and from now until forever will only be taken off for showers.

Loved up..

So things have been rocky on the love front. Maybe more than rocky, treacherous even. However, I have great mates, a new self imposed wingman (i didn't have a choice), an awesome lot of support and a butt load of new TV to watch! I also was treated to a 'breakup' brownie care of one Laura Mitchell (kit and nancy fame). The photos aren't fabulous but I promise you it tasted MORE than fab!!

My lovely housemate Erin also gave me breakup treats in the shape of hilarious animal chocolates. The look crazy but god they were delicious! (and made it hurt just that little less for a moment)
