Good morning sunshine!

This past week in Brisbane had been foul and rainy and fairly well just plain miserable but this morning the sunshine happened and i am making the most of a day off work on the verandah, soaking up that vitamin D!

That time we went camping.

My cider had a heart in it! I do love cider though so it's cool.

This guy had got caught below the high tide line at Christmas...bummer.

Fishing with Dad...we didn't catch anything.

Sunshine, lollipops...

Yesterday had to be one of the most relaxing, delicious days I've had in a super long time! It was my first day back at uni after the op and things were going swimmingly. The sun was shining pretty well all day long and on my lunch break I had the latest Frankie to read and an awesome {if I do say so myself} salad to eat. Let's just say I couldn't help but take photos and here they are.

It even rained last night! {down the coast, I don't know what it did up in Brissie...} A perfect day topped off with beers, steaks and potato salad with my mate Souperman, too good.

Weekend shenanigans.

It was going to be a long hot summers day, the humidity was through the roof. But we packed our sunscreen, umbrellas and suitcases and headed on down to St Jeromes Laneway Festival to show the world that suitcase rummagers are made of the tough stuff!

Such an awesome day out, hanging out with the coolest kids {Trudy and Sarah-Jayne}, making new friends {Jeremy and another Sarah!}, delicious nachos, free fairy floss, amazing people watching and some alright music {i'm not going to hide the fact i'm not a massive fan of the scene, but i'll admit that I still had fun times}. All in all it was an awesome opportunity and even though there weren't huge sales made it was a great day!
