second suitcase sunday!!

The brilliant minds behind the first ever suitcase summage in King George Square have talked the powers at be into letting us have another!!! I can't wait and did a little op shopping to get in the creative mood and am so glad because I came out with a bargain bargain old blue suitcase with maroo and pink houndstooth paper lining among other things!

So here's a sneek peek at what's to come, some Sunday May 9th...

i wish there was one in king george square...

because i would go on it all the time, especially at night when they get all lit up!

An overcast day + too many over ripe bananas in the freezer =

an attempt at Banana-choc chip muffins.

Bearing in mind that i'm am far from the worlds best baker and am far FAR more comfortable in the presence of a roast lamb or chicken and vegetable pie...here is the proof that I baked!

and the finished product? I hear you ask, with a slight chuckle in your voice..well..

not very pretty but pretty delicious!

A big thankyou to all my friends who dropped by to make my little stall look popular! And a massive thankyou to my sister who helped out on the day and had her craftsome self and wares in our suitcases too.

Suitcase Sunday!!

Remember...

Sunday is suitcase rummage day at King George Square in Brisbane!

The selling starts from 12 till about 5 o'clock so hopefully you'll be able to make it in for a bit of a look see, maybe some gift grabbing or just some chin wagging with us!

We'll have art, jewellery, frames, lace, books...all the good stuff!

Can't wait to see you there!!

No more..

I took down my exhibition yesterday so no more XOXO action for me but I am making way for some new skate board art, canvas' and screen printed t-shirts by another Brisbane based artist which will DEFINITLY be worth a look!

So onward with the experimenting with plaster, porcelain, lace, doilies, little golden books and ink!

Keep an eye out for all things new and exciting!!
