Let's Blog!

And I blog the best when I'm procrastinating and have roughly one million other things I should be doing but can't seem to bring myself to do them....

Here we go!

Found at anthropologie ... i must have them, if only I went to places fancy enough for them!

on SALE at anthropologie!... if only I hadn't spent all my tax money, sad times!

also on SALE and handpainted, love LOVE the colours!!

I may be late getting on this band wagon but I do not care, this song is beautiful.

This how to is super cute and will definitely be tried out in the holidays next week!

These were found on etsy at KnotKrazy

Opening Night fun times!

So Re-framed has opened and closed and was yet another fantastic experience. Love the peeps who made it all come to fruition and a special shout out to all who made it down to White Canvas on opening night to help us celebrate our third group show with many more to come in the pipe line!

Here are a few sneak peaks at our opening night shenanigans, for more check us out on our Facebook page!

keep getting messy!

With the art making that is, not with the drinking of the booze!

I'm sleepy and super un-motivated to write about these newest photos except to say that I desperately need to acquire more colours and definitly am changing what I initially wrote as my brief for the exhibition...you can't restrain creativity!!

Here's what I got up to Saturday arvo, rubber gloves on and sweet tunes blaring!

Getting my art.on

I swear, I don't even know how long it's been between art making sessions so today I finally decided to pull my finger out, get motivated and start making rather than just thinking about it!

With the sun almost shining and some sweet tunes... (don't judge! you know who you are)

and some maybe not so sexy painting clothes I made a good old mess, and a great start to two new pieces for a show set for late August.

(you should totally check out our facebook page at Re-Framed and like us!!)

Here's a sneak peek, let me know what you think!

Opshop gold!

Last week I took a trip down to the NSW north coast to visit family with my mum and along the way {both to and from} we stopped in at more opshops than I can count. We also took a trip into Bellingen {which is only about a half hour drive from Coffs} had some delicious organic somethings for lunch and hit all the wee boutique-ey shops and vintage stores they had to offer. The moral of this short and sweet post is I landed on some opshop vintage gold and can't wait to start new summer crafting projects!

My new, very plastic, very gold, very awesome clutch purse!

This ice-cream pillow case delight is double sided and I'll be making two sweet {pun intended!} cushions out of it, first come first served I'm afraid.

Who doesn't need more buttons?

or more zippers?

The golden find of the trip! Multi coloured zippers are so hard to find i'de say they're almost extinct, this is only the second one i've found in close to 3 years of zipper op-shopping and it's even more fabulous than the last one! Now my conundrum is what to make with it? Earrings? Brooch?

What do we think?

{and by we I mean, all of you}

about the new colour scheme?

I didn't want to change it up too much in the way of set up but it definitly needed an over haul. I'm still working on a banner but am waiting on my spiffy new desktop to be setup {my dad has to help me because I am what one might refer to as technologically impaired...completely useless} and then I'll bust out the CS5 photoshop to give me a hand with the banner situation. Until then though, ideas on content for the banner? I'm sick of the polaroid, it's too big and the blue is out too i think...maybe..see this is why I need input!

..heeeelllppp! {please xx}
